San Vicente is a municipality bounded by the sea on the north of Palawan. It is on the northwestern side of the main island, 194 kilometers away from the City of Puerto Princesa. It has a total land area of 82,057 hectares, characterized by rugged terrain. The Municipality has eight barangays, 41 sitios and 21 islets facing the China Sea. Agriculture is its main source of livelihood, while fishing is only seasonal. San Vicente is just like any other municipalities in the Philippines in its profile, but is a standout with the resource it possesses - its Beach.

 
Commercial Domestic Airport

According to the local government the new airport of San Vicente will be completed in the 3rd quarter of 2009. Funds have been already raised and constructions have began. The airport will open new domestic routes and will assure convenient access of San Vicente as Tourist destination. The airport has the potential of being upgraded to an international airport.
